A simple dressing recipe that requires no heating or cooking, this orange carrot ginger dressing is the perfect finish to a delicious summer salad or as a dipping sauce for your favorite sushi. Ready in just a few minutes, there is nothing to lose, except maybe a boring meal!
This dressing resembles that of the dressing you often get in Asian restaurants on salads. It’s quite flavorful, and so colorful! Plus it’s full of tons of natural beta carotene, vitamin C and has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. So much goodness packed in just a little sauce.
Plus, the color orange resembles sunshine, and who doesn’t like the sun shining this time of year? It’s such a joyous color, and this orange carrot ginger dressing will keep the good vibes flowing!
To make this tasty dressing, all you have to do is peel and chop the ends off the ginger and carrots. Toss them into a blender or food processor along with some orange juice and a bit of olive oil and blend! If desired, add in a pinch of salt and pepper. Blend until smooth.
If you like, you can strain the mixture so that it is just a liquid. However, I prefer mine to be chunky, and I like to not waste any food. Totally up to you though! Either way, it’s a delicious treat that will make you feel vibrant and healthy after consuming!
