Easy and nutritious!
I used to eat green beans raw as a snack all of the time. I used to just love the crunch and juiciness of green beans, and then I stopped eating them raw for some reason.
I’m not a huge fan of them cooked without any flavoring. They’re just bland and boring. But if you add seasoning to help liven them up, then I’m all ears.
Add a little salt and some garlic to pretty much anything, and it’s a completely different experience.
This super-simple roasted garlic green beans recipe is delicious and flavorful. If you’re tired of plain green beans, then I really urge you to give this one a try!
Only 5 minutes of prep time required!
All you need for this recipe is a package of green beans (approximately 12 oz in size), olive or coconut oil, powdered garlic, salt and pepper.
Wash and dry the green beans, then add them to a bowl. Sprinkle with oil, then top with garlic, salt and pepper.
Spread out onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the oven until cooked, approximately 20 minutes. Allow to cool for several minutes before serving.
Can I follow this recipe with a different vegetable?

Ingredients
- 12 oz fresh green beans
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Wash green beans and pat dry with paper towels.
- Add green beans to a bowl and sprinkle with coconut oil. Stir to coat. Toss with garlic, salt and pepper.
- Lay green beans out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until soft and the edges begin to brown.
