Ingredients

  • 1 large bunch asparagus
  • 1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil
  • pinch Salt

Instructions

  • Remove light-colored ends of asparagus.
  • In a large pan, add 1 inch of water and the asparagus stems. You want the asparagus spread out into a singe layer. Turn the heat to medium.
  • Cover and steam for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Drain water and add butter and salt to the pan. Saute the asparagus over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes.
