A simple refreshing beverage, this stevia-sweetened lemonade is perfect for summertime! Simply squeeze the juice of one lemon into a cup, add water and stevia and chill. Vegan, vegetarian, Paleo, low-carb, ketogenic.
Lemonade is one drink I have been avoiding for a very long time now. From the time I started limiting or eliminating processed sugar from my diet, lemonade got kicked to the curb rather quickly.
I do very much enjoy the taste of the sweet and tart beverage, and I finally decided that I was missing it badly enough to try making some myself.
Plus, it’s the perfect recipe since it’s now summer (!!). It seems like just yesterday the trees were budding, and now summer is in full swing! Lemonade is probably the number one summery beverage, and for a good reason.
It’s so refreshing, sweet and tart, and not at all unhealthy if you cut out the refined sugar It turns out, it’s also pretty darn easy to make, and you just need a few simple ingredients!
I know I mention all the time how easy and quick my recipes are, but this one really takes the cake, guys! All you have to do is juice two lemons and split the juice between two cups.
Add in some water and as much stevia as you like, and that’s all there is to it! Simply refrigerate until cool, or add in a bunch of ice. You can garnish with a lemon wedge if you like.
It doesn’t get much easier for a drink recipe, of course unless you are drinking water, which I certainly hope you are! 🙂

Using two smallish lemons, 16 oz of water, and 3/8 tsp of stevia, I made a large glass of lemonaide. Served over 6 ice cubes, it was pronounced universally good. The diabetics and calorie counters want more.
So glad you enjoyed it Eric. Cheers to many more glasses!
