If you are a fan of Japanese Hibachi, then you are probably familiar with yum yum sauce. It is a thick, creamy and flavorful sauce that goes well with everything! This is a keto version that is also Whole30 friendly, Paleo and sugar-free.
You Mean I Can Make It Myself?
Yes, you heard me right. You can make this delicious, pink, creamy sauce yourself! And it’s SUPER easy to make!
Not only that, but if you choose the right mayo, you can avoid all of the bad fats in soybean and canola oil-based mayonnaise, by using an olive or avocado oil-based mayo!
Be sure to check the ingredients on the mayo before you buy it, because aside from bad oils, there are also common ingredients like corn starch, modified food starch and tons of preservatives added to conventional mayo!
So how easy is it, really?
So once you have your mayo good to go (you can make your own mayo, or I like avocado-based mayo like this Primal Kitchen mayo), all you have to do is add some more ingredients and place in the fridge. Really, that’s it.
The other ingredients you will need are tomato paste, butter or ghee, garlic salt, paprika and stevia (or another sweetener of your choice).
